This is the first question everyone wants to know. The answer is simple "As many as it takes"
The average number of hours for a learner to pass their test in the UK is now around 40 hours.
However everyone is different and we all learn at a different pace. You may need more, you may need less.
Lesson prices are listed on the Pricing page.
However don't forget to include the following -
Provisional Licence £34.00
Theory Study Pack £25.00 (approx)
Theory Test £23.00
Practical Test £62.00
There are so many books and resources avaialbe to help you study for your theory test it can be confusing trying to work out which is best. My personal recommendations are
The Highway Code
Know Your Traffic Signs
The Official DVSA Guide to Driving - The Essential Skills
The Official DVSA Theroy Test For Car Drivers
All available on line at www.dsabooks.co.uk
The Official DVSA Theory Test Kit App.
Available from the App Store and Google Play Store
I currently use a Ford Focus ST Line with manual gearbox.
In all honesty I don't think they are. Take a ride in a taxi for 1 hour then ask yourself 2 questions
1 How much did that cost?
2 Did I learn a skill that I can use for the rest of my life?
Now consider the fact your instructor has the cost of the car, insurance, tax, MOT, fuel, business expenses and has invested time and money to qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor. After all those things are taken into account, lesson prices are very reasonable.
Mon - Fri 9am-6pm

As you make progress in your lessons we will discuss the point you should apply for your practical test. I always say that if you can pass a mock test then you are ready for your driving test, as I try to make mock tests as close to the real thing as possible.
No, sorry my car has a manual gearbox.
